Born in Falena Lorelai struck out at a young age to explore and protect the treasures of the Sindar. At first only reliant on her own strength she fought for years with other adventurers like Killey and Zweig. Sometimes working with them, but always with her own agenda. After participating in the Falenan Civil War she stole all of Zweig's notes as well as tricking Falena into throwing Killey in prison for a few years. She then followed Killey's notes to the northern continent to see what she could find there. While there she participated in both the Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars.


After the Dunan Unification she ran to Kanakan to be the first to the ruins there where she discovered the first real hint that her family heritage was true. The same Circlet she had worn since she left home was in a chest deep in the ruins finally proving what her family has always told her. That they were descendants of the Sindar who stayed behind to keep the world safe from some of the things the Sindar had created. It was when she found this treasure that she suddenly found herself waking up on the island.

[Personality]:

She is an extremely blunt woman and get's straight to the point with almost everything. When you ask her something for the most part her answers are going to be in a few words as possible and if it's yes or no you aren't getting more than that single word.  To most people she comes off as unpleasant but with people she respects she's a little more open but still very short. She has a very quick temper and once something angers her she get's unpleasant to everyone around her until she calms down. She can only take so much annoyance before it sets off. It begins with a glare and then get's rude and sarcastic and past that point she's just going to pop you in the face and be done with it.

She lacks any sort of leadership abilities which is why she'd never lead her own crew. Her expertise does lead to people trusting her when it comes to exploring ancient ruins and cave systems but outside of that  she finds it much more to her advantage to follow someone she respects and the only people she respects are those who are strong in both combat and character. Someone who won't slow her down and will also live up to the high standard of character she expects in a leader. She respects someone who is willing to take a life to save lives more than she does someone who won't make the hard choices to do the right thing.

She's extremely focused on exploration and her entire life revolves around old ruins and caves holding the secrets and technology of the Sindar and any other dangerous ancient technology and magic the world needs to be kept safe from. She has 0 tolerance for looters and anyone who would explore for selfish reasons. Especially if they are the wrong kind of people. She's killed many looters in her day. The only people she legitimately hates in the world are her former colleague Zweig and Zerase an old Rune bearer who spoke in riddles. She hates people who speak in cryptic riddles and will not deal with them because of it. You know something, spit it out. Also the only person she actually respects in her line of work is Killey as they share a purpose in keeping the treasures of the Sindar away from people. There is a reason they are rivals and it isn't hate.  

In her spare time she's a little more mellow and spends most of her time at the bar. She's not the most social person but this is the time when people can get through her shell and find her in a way that is almost friendly. Still blunt but a much more approachable version comes out. When she's not drinking she can be found training in her various weapons and if you feel like sparring this is always the best way to break through and earn her friendship. It's what she does for fun.

The only times outside of sparring where her walls truly break down is when kids come by. She's shockingly good with kids and it's a surprise to everyone around her every time they see her interacting with kids.

[Abilities / Strengths & Weaknesses]: 

Abilities : At short range she's proficient with the whip she carries which is mostly for exploration but comes in useful for combat. Her weapon of choice is her large scythe with which she is extremely proficient with her speed. She's also moderately decent at hand to hand combat. Her speed being what it is usually allows her to get strikes in before her opponent can react and she's extremely good defensively as well using her scythe to practically build a wall in front of her while she pushes forward. 



At long range she's highly proficient in archery and also wields her lightning rune. She's not the strongest rune user but she's always adapted well to lightning and can use her rune to summon lightning in both targeted strikes and attacks over a larger area. The Rune appears as a tattoo on the back of her hand.
Strengths: Close Range combat is where she excels. She hasn't come across many people who can match her on a battlefield. She's also extremely skilled at traversing traps in ruins and cave systems. 

Weaknesses: Once you take her scythe and whip out of commission she's not going to do that well. her hand to hand skills are decent but she wouldn't stand a chance against someone with any real martial arts ability. 

[Limited Powers]:Her Lightning rune seems weaker here than it was before. She can still summon lightning but for some reason can't use anything beyond the most basic weaker abilities associated with the rune. which are a weak single strike and an even weaker charging of a small area.

[Other Important Facts]: Her bisexuality is very much a part of her that does come out when she's drunk around people she trusts.

♦ Post: [It had been a few days since Lorelai arrived on this strange island. At this point she had gotten used to the rowdiness of the town but needed to get some of her regular routine back. She picks up her mug and stands from  her seat in the back of the bar]

Hey! I need a sparring partner! WHO WANTS TO FIGHT!

[She takes a large swig of her drink and slams the mug back down on the table waiting for a response]

 [Lorelai walks over to the wall of practice weapons in the Dojo. She begins picking through the stuff she knows one by one. She starts with the foil and does a few quick jabs before she moves on and grabs the scythe and spins it around a few times with a flourish.]

These are shockingly well balanced for practice weapons. So boy, weapons or hand to hand. Which would you prefer?
